Overview

The DS24 series is a high-performance 1GE/2.5GE/10GE/25GE/40GE/100GE Ethernet switch based on Ethernet switching chips. Equipped with CentecOS system software, it supports mainstream protocol standards and applications, allowing for easy and rapid deployment and management. Currently available models include: DS24X2Q/DS16T16XY2Q/DS24T8X.

Recommendation

  • Two 24T8X units with 24 gigabit batteries and 80000 megawatts of light, fixed built-in dual power supply. One 10G port is used for MLAG between the two devices.

Scenarios

  • Strict cost requirements, requiring equipment redundancy
  • Server nodes are 2-4 Gigabit+20000 Gigabit
  • No need to deploy an additional gigabit switch and an extra 1U of space
  • Can support 3-7 nodes

Recommendation

  • Two 16T16XY2Q, 16 gigabit batteries+16 10G light, 2 40G, dual power supplies that can be plugged in and out. Two 40G ports each are used for MLAG between the two machines.

Scenarios

  • Server nodes are 2-4 Gigabit+2/40000 Gigabit
  • No need to deploy two more gigabit switches and 2U more space
  • Support 3-16 nodes (20000 Mbps) 
  • Can support 3-8 nodes (40000 Mbps) Note: It also supports 25G

Recommendation

  • Two 24X2Q connected storage units (24 10G optical+2 40G, dual power pluggable). 1-2 40G ports each are used for MLAG between the two machines. 
  • In addition, there are 2 48T4X (48 gigabit batteries+4 10G optical cables) for management and business purposes.

Scenarios

  • The server has a gigabit port, which is not conducive to aging, but it needs to be separated into gigabit and gigabit ports
  • Support 24 nodes (20000 Mbps)
  • Support 12 nodes (40000 Mbps)
  • In the future, small-scale expansion can be achieved by increasing convergence
